Dinner Meeting at Durbin’s of Midlothian

Our next Chamber meeting will be at Durbin’s of Midlothian,14753 S Cicero Ave., on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 16th, registration will be at 5:30 and the cost is $15.00. Come see all the great changes that Robin Flannery has done. And our meeting in October will be a LUNCH meeting at the Midlothian Park District on October 14th, where we will get a tour of the new additions that have been made.

Flag of Honor

The 9/11 Flag of Honor was developed by the Flag of Honor/Flag of Heroes Project.  The flag was created, established, and promoted as nationally recognized flag that would remind us of the individuals that lost their lives on 9/11. 

The Flag of Honor Memorial Edition includes the names of everyone who perished on 9/11; on all of the planes, at Shanksville, PA, the Pentagon and the World Trade Center.  In addition, the names from the February 26, 1993 attack are also included.

This flag is made by Annin & Company and when each flag is ordered, a portion of the proceeds from the sale of these flags go to various charities including: The Voices of 911 (supporting the families of the victims), The National 911 Museum at Ground Zero and the Flag of Honor Fund. 

This flag features dyed image with the design reading correctly on the front side and looking reverse (backwards) on back side.  Finished with canvas heading and brass grommets.

Flag of Heroes

This flag includes the names of all Emergency Services Personnel, including FDNY, PADD, NYPD, EMS & Court Officers.

This flag is made by Annin & Company and when each flag is ordered, a portion of the proceeds from the sale of these flags go to various charities including: The Voices of 911 (supporting the families of the victims), The National 911 Museum at Ground Zero, and Flag of Honor Fund.

Keep Midlothian Beautiful Fall 2020 Recycling Event

Keep Midlothian Beautiful Fall 2020 Recycling Event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 3rd at 14801 Pulaski Rd (Metra lot next to Public Works Bldg.) from 9 AM – 12 noon or until trucks are full. Electronics, Textiles, Paper Shredding, and Medication Disposal.

ITEMS ACCEPTED: Cell phones, telephones, fax machines, Computers, laptops, monitors, motherboards, Printers, Toner Cartridges, Televisions (one per household), Game Systems ,Cables, Stereos, Calculators, Hardware, Toasters/Blenders, Holiday Lights, EYEGLASSES, HEARING AIDS, EMPTY INK JET CARTRIGES. The Cook County Sheriff’s Office will collect human and pet medication for Proper Disposal. No hypodermics or liquids.
